What I care about!

Hi everybody,

What do you care about?

What are you passionate about?

Well the week 9 Student Blogging Challenge is to write a great post about what you are passionate about (like a world issue). I am choosing to write about a world issue which is poverty:

Poverty is a major world issue and effects lots of people. Not just in 3rd world countries. Poverty is when you don’t own very much of anything, absolute poverty is when you hardly have any clothes, food and drink, money, shelter or materials you need to stay healthy and fit. Poverty reduction is a major goal and issue international originations such as the united nations and the world bank.

                                                              I found this info at:http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Poverty

What can you do about poverty?

Watch: Anti-Poverty Week: 22/10/2013, Behind the News and tell me what you think and answer the questions below.

What does Daphne do you help people in poverty?

How would you feel working to feed the poor?

What can you do to help?

Also watch: Poverty Campaigner: 21/10/2014, Behind the News and tell me what you think and answer the questions below.

How many people in Australia are living below the poverty line?

How many kids are living below the poverty line?

There are so many things people can do for this world issue, and lots of those things we either can’t or aren’t doing. So join in the fight for this world issue contribute something.

Thank You!!!

Hi everybody,

For the 3rd student blogging challenge was to leave a comment on the student blogging challenge about a video called A Fair(y) Use Tale ( you can find this video at http://studentchallenge.edublogs.org/ on the Week 5: Pictures and Videos post). It was talking about what copy right is and how not to break copy right laws.

I would like to say a BIG Thank You to everyone/company of all the photos and videos that I have on my blog.

I would especially like to say a BIG Thank You to the year 5 teachers, because they taken lots of photos and created lots of criteria/word docs for us.

Do you have anyone to thank?

And who do you have to think?

Have a great day
